Björn Stansvik, Chief Executive Officer & Chairman of the Board

Mr. Stansvik holds a M.Sc. in Business Administration from the Gothenburg School of Economics and has completed a master’s thesis in Civil Engineering. He worked in high-tech and strategic business development in Europe, Latin America, and the United States prior to founding MentorMate in 2001, and has guided the company through various stages of growth and change.

Mr. Stansvik is the creator of MentorMate’s patented technologies and has received a Certificate of Commendation signed by the governor of Minnesota. He was recently elected to the board of the Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary club, one of the largest Rotary clubs in the state of Minnesota. He also serves on the President’s Information Technology Steering Committee at Century College.

He is a supporter of the National Parks Conservation Association and the Friends of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

Mr. Stansvik is fluent in four languages.
