Jacob Larson, Project Manager

Jacob was a freelance web designer and computer consultant for ten years prior to his employment at MentorMate, and has worked as a web programmer and webmaster at the University of Minnesota. One of his favorite projects at MentorMate was designing the campaign management software for Peter Hutchinson's 2006 state gubernatorial campaign.

Jacob enjoys reading, especially non-fiction. Of a recent read, Atlas Shrugged, Jacob says, "Ultimately I think Rand goes too far with her philosophy, yet I can't help agreeing with her on a number of points. The book is extremely well written, with larger than life heroes and epic conflicts, all within the realm of everyday life."

Away from the office, he enjoys disc golf, racquetball, drawing, photography, and woodworking, and has received awards and recognition for his artwork.
