Doug Reeves, Business Analyst

Doug graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota in 2006. His favorite courses were User Interface Design (which included an extensive unit on the usability of doors, which he found both amusing and applicable), Compilers, and Internet Programming. During his time at MentorMate, Doug has developed his skills in "gathering and developing requirements and incorporating them into an existing system in a consistent manner." He enjoys "learning everything that can be learned about software."

Doug is fascinated by the history of math, especially the origin of number systems, "how recent the development of number systems is, and how inefficient they were at the beginning compared to what we have now." He also enjoys playing racquetball and discovering new music, and is a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. His favorite vacation spot is the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota.
