Client Spotlight: IC Solutions

IC Solutions serves general contractors as well as sales professionals in the insurance repair industry, providing both with tools to increase sales and efficiency. IC Solutions provides monthly newsletters, printable marketing tools, and software for the insurance sales professional, and training, seminars, and collections services for the general contractor.
IC Solutions was developed by entrepreneur Jim Johnson; over the last ten years, he has sold, managed, owned, and adjusted in the insurance restoration industry. He has worked to streamline the insurance professional's responsibilities through creative integration of various sales and recordkeeping tasks into IC Solutions' software program Silver Lining. IC Solutions helps insurance salespeople save time, money, and frustration by tailoring solutions to their specific needs.
IC Solutions came to MentorMate looking to improve Silver Lining. The program lacked a sufficient tool for assessors to sketch roofs and associated storm (or other) damage. A quick, easy sketching and estimating tool was necessary for assessors to efficiently perform their jobs. So, IC Solutions asked MentorMate to improve this portion of Silver Lining.
MentorMate created a CAD-based diagramming tool that could incorporate roof features, square footage, and damage attributes into the data recorded by Silver Lining for each insured site. Damage estimates could then be made quickly and easily by assessors.
MentorMate Global Delivery Manager Rand Eaton describes the project as "very successful", concluding early and under budget. He attributes part of the success of this project to the fact that Jim Johnson "was great to work with, a great client."
